DESCRIPTION:Please join Chamber of Commerce staff and members\, Town of Parker elected officials and staff\, and other interested citizens for a "Day at the Capitol."  Transportation is provided to/from Parker Town Hall. You'll enjoy a tour of the State Capitol\, time with legislators\, the opportunity to watch the House and Senate in action\, and a learning lunch with legislators and keynote speaker Maria De Cambra\, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Local Affairs.\n\n\n\nIf you haven't been to the Capitol since your middle school field trip\, you're going to love seeing our state government in action with adult eyes!  \n\n\n\nYOU DO NOT need to be a member of the Parker Chamber to participate in this event.\n\n\n\nThe Presenting Sponsor for this event is CORE Electric Cooperative.  Our Lunch Sponsor is Republic Services. Transportation is sponsored by Parker Economic Development.\n\n\n\nFrom 8:00am - 8:45am\, we will be offering an optional "orientation" in the lobby of Parker Town Hall. We will discuss what to expect\, how to interact with legislators\, and answer any questions you have about the day.\n\n\n\nPlease let us know if you will be utilizing the provided transportation or if you prefer to get yourself to/from the Capitol.  You can rendezvous with the group at the Capitol at 9:30am.
