DESCRIPTION:While it seems like Parker Days is very away\, it will come upon us very quickly.  This year Parker Days is June 12   14. You may have been involved as a volunteer in the past\, or this may be your first time considering being a volunteer for Parker Days.  Either way\, please consider joining us for a meeting about Parker Days and the various opportunities available to get involved in this outstanding community event!\n\n \n\nOn Thursday\, January 29\, from 6 p.m.   8 p.m. at the Parker Library in the Adam & Dorothy Miller Meeting Room\, we will have our first group volunteer meeting.\n\n \n\nThis meeting will give you a chance to hear about all of the volunteering opportunities\, meet some of the volunteers from the past\, and give you an idea if you would like to volunteer for a committee or just a couple of hours.  Opportunities include helping plan the Parker Days parade\, Plan and Manage the Pikes Peak Fun Area\, Sell at the Pepsi booth\, pour beer (21 and older only)\, become an Information Assistant\, help with Vendor Coordination and other exciting opportunities.\n\n \n\nIf you are interested in volunteering\, please fill out this link (it will only take you 2   3 minutes):  https://parkerchamber.webconnex.com/volunteer2015.\n\n \n\nIf you are not able to attend the meeting but are still interested in being a volunteer\, please fill out the link above and Sara will be in touch with you.
