Mike Cotsworth has been an entrepreneur and small business owner for 40+ years, having owned and operated businesses ranging from mid-sized corporations, to one-man consulting services, to a retail store front auto dealership, and home based sales.
Car Connections, Mike’s principal business for the past 18 years, has transitioned from a lone wolf operation to having a stable of multiple salespeople and back to a family partnership with his wife, Amy. Car Connections is but one spoke of a synergistic “business wheel” that Mike has developed to leverage multiple sources of income.
Prior to creating Car Connections, a business that merges profession with his passion (all things automotive), Mike owned a Real Estate Syndication and Management firm in Northern California, and a Real Estate Development company in Colorado.

Mike Cotsworth, local small business owner, entrepreneur, and community leader, will present how in two different industries he has developed a “Business Wheel”; a model which utilizes multiple spokes positioned around a core business to build varied enterprises that support and promote one another.
Learn how this strategy can be applied to your business situation; the pros and cons of different business structures; and how this model works to enhance your core business. Case studies, interactive discussion, and “what if” exercises will be offered to help illustrate the opportunities this approach can generate.
