Description
Each quarter, leaders of small non-profits in the Parker area are invited to attend a special training event hosted by our Non-Profit Organization Council (NPOC) to help boost the success of their organizations.
If you are a leader of a smaller NPO in the Parker area, you're invited to join us for this free event. We will have a speaker on a subject of practical relevance to non-profits. Leaders of organizations who are not members of the Parker Chamber may attend one NPOC event, and then will be asked to join the Chamber at our low non-profit membership rate in order to continue attending.
For April, our topic is COMMUNICATION. We are so excited to welcome Shoshanna French of Simple Spirit to share her program Three Simple Communication Tools for Every Team to Succeed. Learning how to foster strong communication between members of your team (staff, volunteers, board members) is critical for achieving your mission, fulfilling your vision, and serving your purpose. We will specifically discuss the importance of listening, collaborating (not controlling), and redefining integrity.
Each person in attendance will be invited to share (for one minute) about their organization's upcoming events and special programs.
Please RSVP so that we may plan for attendance. Thank you!
