Founding Business Development Manager — Fetter Advisory (Parker, CO)

Posted: 10/14/2026

Fetter Advisory, a Parker-based strategic advisory firm, is hiring its first sales professional. Commission-only (1099), part-time-friendly, with a path to grow into more.

*Fetter Advisory is a research-driven strategic advisory firm helping organizations earn public trust and build stronger stakeholder relationships. We work with solopreneurs, small businesses, municipalities, and utilities across South Metro Denver. We are a Parker Chamber member, and this is our first dedicated sales hire.

*The role
This is a founding seat, not a slot in an existing team. You will source and qualify new clients, hold sales conversations, and book discovery calls. Jackie Fetter, our founder, runs discovery, scopes the work, and writes the proposal. You close the final proposal as written. Anything that changes price, scope, or terms goes back to her. You will also help shape the sales playbook and CRM standards that every future hire will use.

*What's in place
A researched target list, a CRM, a structured training program, a finished brand, and one-on-one onboarding with the founder. Plan on roughly 40-60 hours of training at the start, then about 10-18 hours a week, on a schedule you set.

*Compensation
Commission-only, 1099 independent contractor to start. You earn 15% of the total value of the first signed contract on each client you originate, paid within 30 days of the client's payment, with no cap. At a 90-day review we will decide together whether to continue, adjust, or move toward base-plus-commission.

*You bring
- Comfort running your own outbound
- A consultative, relationship-first selling style, using our approved methods and language
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience selling professional or consulting services (a plus)
- An existing South Metro Denver network (a plus)

*To apply
Email jackie@fetteradvisory.com with a note about your approach to building business relationships. We are reviewing applicants now and plan to make a decision by the end of October.
