Each quarter, leaders of small non-profits in the Parker area are invited to attend a special training event hosted by our Non-Profit Organization Council (NPOC) to help boost the success of their organizations.
TOPIC:
This month topic is Clarity First: How Boards Actually Work, presented by Kira Golub of Maze Point Consulting. This practical session helps nonprofit board members better understand their role and responsibilities by exploring why boards often struggle, including lack of role clarity, unclear expectations, communication challenges, and conflict avoidance. Attendees will gain insight into effective board structure, accountability, engagement, and fundraising responsibility, along with tools to strengthen board culture and decision making. The session concludes with a self assessment to help participants evaluate their board’s effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
