"Vision Boards - Creating the Life You Love"
The human brain processes, stores, learns from and reacts to visuals differently from any other stimulus, such as the spoken word. In ancient times, hieroglyphics depicted a wealth of information through pictures, and was the primary way to record and pass down information and events. Today we still use visuals in a multitude of ways, but often overlook their power - and scientific foundation - when it comes to setting and achieving our goals. Join us for an interactive luncheon where you will learn how your brain understands the visual world, and how to harness this power by creating an individual Vision Board for your professional and/or personal goals.
What will you take away from this event:
1) Learn how the brain processes visuals and how it differs from other types of learning
2) Understand the components of a productive Vision Board
3) Incorporate Affirmations and learn the 4 key components to writing effective Affirmations
4) Create your own Vision Board that you will build from for years to come
ATTENTION ATTENDEES:
Please bring a few materials with you (i.e. a few favorite snapshots, magazines, quotes, objects, etc) that you will use to create your board. An email will go out once you have registered as a reminder about materials as well.
Who is Angie?
Angie Egan is a Certified Hypnotist through the NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists) and is licensed through the state of Colorado. Angie is also a HypnoBirthing Practitioner through the HypnoBirthing Institute, and the Regional Liaison for Colorado HypnoBirthing Practitioners. Angie has worked with individuals and groups by guiding them through hypnosis and teaching the tools of self-hypnosis since 2008. Angie birthed all three of her children using HypnoBirthing techniques, and utilizes hypnosis in her daily life.
Women in Business and Leadership luncheons are held quarterly from 11:30am to 1pm. Influential women from around the area speak on different topics such as leadership, life/work balance, goal setting, marketing, and much more!
